Happy April everyone!!!

Starting a new thread for the month!!

Just a reminder...this is the thread where we should post chit chat, new items, treasuries, and really anythign and everything! That way it is easier to just click on the one thread to get all our team info, as opposed to 3 or 4!

I'm totally excited for this month - lots going on! I'm finally off work so I can (hopefully) get a bunch of stuff completed before baby arrives...it's my b-day in a couple days, Easter, and who knows - the little one COULD be here this month!!

Question ~ if you make a custom item, is it appropriate to add a picture of it to your listing ~ should you ask the buyer first?

hi giggles, If they pay you for your item before you make it (which they totally should!) then you can't add a photo after the reserved listing has gone up. I used to do it back in the day when we had alchemy but now you can't.
I think it's fine to add one but I don't think you can.

ps. I do offer sometimes to get a deposit only but most of my custom orders have prepaid the full total before I make it. I always send them a photo before I mail it off to them...hope that helps,!

Thank you so much for the advice ~ great idea about sending the photo.
I love custom orders, but I sometimes worry that my idea of the finished product may be different from the buyer (thankfully I have been lucky so far)!

I also always have them pay before making the item, but always email a photo of it before I mail it to make sure that it is approved by the customer first. That way there are no surprises. Nice new bee pillow giggles :)
