I'm new to etsy so i'm checking out some teams. :) I'm Jenn and I like to draw, do nerdy stuff like html, and most recently play with polymer clay. I've got making the stuff nice and flat down like a pro but other then that, complete amateur :P Any nice tutorial website recommendations would be appreciated. :3

Just checked out your shop. Very cute stuff. I like the simplicity and the artwork to your pieces. I'm self-taught from books myself. Your local library can help alot. In the near future, I will post reviews of the books I've tried. that might be helpful. Like mamasclay said, the fun part of this medium is that you can stay a beginner for a long time and that is what is wonderful. There are almost no limits as to what you can do with polymer clay.

Hi, welcome & good luck on etsy! I completely agree about the addictiveness of polymer clay. My husband can vouch for that, too. He feels like he's "lost" me to clay-making! It's (practically) all I ever want to do.

Welcome! :) Your little pendants are adorable! I especially love the kitty ones. I, too, am a nerd. I'm a Flash programmer who married a botanist (so you can only imagine the otherwise useless infomation stored in my head) and I LOVE staying up late playing Zelda. Polymer has hooked me, Completely. :D Now I can't get away from it!!! AHHHH!!! ClaybyKim and CrazieHappy said it well. It's totally Addicting. I even DREAM about creating with polymers. lol!

oooOOoooOO thanks for the two cool resources!! I really should do more image transfers because currently I draw everything on my polymer clay by hand. I do however kind of like the textures I get from drawing directly on the clay and there are certain things I've achieved drawing strait on clay that wouldn't have came out the same on paper.

one thing i really want to learn how to do well is making the tiny little charm sculptures. those are hard!!! ><;
