Roger Stone indited and arrested. By the FBI in full tactical gear no less!

There was a sudden press conference (or whatever) by you-know-who in the White House Rose Garden about the shutdown, some three-week deal and government worker's back pay. I didn't catch the whole thing 'cause I had plumbers in the house. Talk about trying to distract!

Yes, I was just watching Wendy Mesley on Vancouver CBC . The analyst said that the wording "[A] senior Trump campaign official was directed to contact Stone about any additional releases and what other damaging information Organization 1 [WikiLeaks] had regarding the Clinton Campaign."

That would indicate that the last name would either be Trump or Kushner.

The analyst said that he laughed for 10 minutes when he heard of Stone's arrest. Finally the "dirty trickster" had been caught in his own hype.

I especially liked the chant of "Lock him up" coming from the crowd outside the courtroom. Seems very appropriate when he helped trump with the usage of this phrase.

Being 66 and looking at spending his retirement in a cell may cause him to rethink his loyalty to trump.

It is being reported that the Judge in Roger Stone trial is going to place a gag order on both parties. Roger Stone is upset about this but the Judge is not having any of his BS.

Stone has been doing several talk shows a day. Doesn't seem right. A gag order is definitely in order. Have any of you watched "Get Me Roger Stone" documentary? Really good insight into what a sleazeball he is.

Will Trump Pardon Roger Stone? I believe he will try. If he feels he can pardon a crooked sheriff, why wouldn't he pardon someone he needs for his 2020 campaign.

The only question -- and answer -- that mattered on Monday was when Sanders was asked whether Trump was considering a pardon for the recently indicted Roger Stone.

"I'm not aware of that. I haven't had any discussions with him on that matter," she responded. Then, when pressed on whether Trump had ruled out the possibility, Sanders said: "I'm not going to talk about hypotheticals that are just ridiculous. I'm not aware of anybody here ever working with WikiLeaks in any capacity."

The answer was not sn't: "No, the President will not pardon Mr. Stone under any circumstances."

Not ruling out a pardon for Stone sends a very clear signal to him: A pardon is on the table. At least for now.

The Point: That is the point. And, trust me, Stone got the message loud and clear.
