I just wanted to share with all of you the devastation here. The waldo canyon fire has burned about 5000 acres and is only 5% contained. It is right near the heart of Colorado Springs and lots of houses. 32,000 people have already been evacuated and it is still going. The Air Force Academy has been evacuated and I live 10 min away from there on the same side of where the fire is. Homes have been burned and it is hard to watch. I would like you all to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. My family and I have an evacuation plan in case we need to leave because if it keeps going north we will be the next on the list to evacuate.
