Curious if I'm the only one

Has anyone else noticed that after about a year of using the Tecre Button Machine that if you're using photo paper the machine suddenly thinks the photo paper is too thick and the mylar won't wrap properly?

I spoke to the business I deal with and they said they noticed the same thing after a year; that suddenly it no longer seems to like photo paper.

If you have, have you found an solution without giving up on glossy photo paper stock?

Take some silicone spray and grease your pick up dies.

Did you change brands with the paper?
If not definitely do what Calocedrus said above, clean the machine, get rid of any paper dust and grease up your machine.

That happened to me last week! I "googled" the problem and the reason the paper occasionally gets stuck is because the color on the paper makes it stick…unless you leave a slight "border" around the image. Solution was to take a silicone stick (looks like a glue stick) and rub some around the upper part of the machine (where it picks up the shell) with your finger… it worked! They say we should do that every 500 buttons or so….
