Team Hashtag for Searches

What do you all think of starting our very own team hashtag that can be used when pinning members items?

Hashtags on Pinterest are used by the search engine to find like items. For example anything tagged with #etsy, would yield a search of items pinned with the word "etsy" in the description.

It has been suggested that our team use its own hashtag, #etsypiut.

We can try it for a test run and see the results.

There was another discussion going about this, i think people were using #pinitup but I can look back through the threads to try and confirm this

Oops!! Miss read this, the pinitup was for tagging our products on etsy, guess I didn't realized there's a way of "tagging" on pinterest, know how to do it on Wanelo, would anyone like to share with me where tagging is done on pinterest?

Yes, that's why I thought we could start a new thread specific to the hashtag for the team.

I tested #pinitup and the seach yielded a huge return, mostly hairstyle pins.

I am very new to Pinterest, not quite sure how the search feature works. i tried a search using #pinitup, #etsypin #etsypiut and a tag that I had been previously using #moresales and nothing got no result
