I have been on ETSY since 2015 but am always looking for ways to increase sales and traffic to my shop.  My shop is https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/sayitwithyourwords.  I am experiencing a huge drop in sales for the first time since joining ETSY but remain optimistic and committed to growing my shop.

HI Deborah,  I have experienced the opposite and have been very busy the first 3 months.  I have been toggling my ads on and off during peak times and keeping them on for just $1 during the week but increasing them to $20 during the weekend.  I do a lot of custom work which is where all my sales have been coming from, my stock items just seem to sit but my ads have been focused on my custom items.  Not sure that was the reason for the increase.  I had to take down my custom items for a few days to catch up.  The ads seem to work for me but I also do social media.. instagram and facebook but hard to track if that brings people into the site.  I would try doing ads to see if it works for at least a week or two, but I am not an expert
