Question about Pattern website-can I sell Faire

I have a website and it's on Pattern. I am researching for possible future sales of other items. I am wondering anyone knows if I am able to sell Faire items on the Pattern website or not since it's technically powered by Etsy? I know you can't sell on Etsy, but is Pattern considered Etsy? I am wondering if maybe I need to switch back to Shopify or something similar if I go that route. Thanks!

Yes, I believe that's fine.

Here are a few examples of listings that can now be listed on your Pattern website, but not on Etsy.com:

• Gift baskets. This could be a curated selection of products packaged for easy gift giving. 

• Vintage items less than 20 years old. For instance, you could sell stonewashed jeans from 2005. 

• Products you didn't make or design. For instance, you could include bags of gourmet coffee to compliment your handmade pottery mug selection. 

• Classes. These can be in-person or through a webinar. 

• Collaboratively designed items. These could be items you made with the help of another designer.

Etsy and Pattern are linked together. Your Pattern website will show everything on Etsy plus the items you listed as Pattern only.

I sell at craft fairs. I have my Etsy shop synched with Square and use that platform for selling at the events. The only thing is that Etsy does not transfer the "Pattern Only" items to the Square app, so you might have to manually enter those items onto the Square app. The advantage is you don't have to keep track of your inventory for the items in your Etsy shop, but if you were to sell some of the items that don't qualify for Etsy but you have in the Pattern website, you can print or view a sales report at the end of the day and manually adjust your Pattern website inventory using the report as a guide.
