My URL suddenly converting to romaarellanopatternbyetsy.com

...why? And who the heck is ever going to remember that?

You can put in my domain name, but the URL quickly reverts to the longer version. And when I cut and paste any links, say to Facebook, it converts to the long link. Oh my. What a pain! OK, so we figured out what was causing the website to disappear altogether at the beginning of May, and hoping folks can help with this particular issue. I tell you, is anyone home at Etsy Pattern support?

I think you have to set your paid domain name to "masking"....if I remember correctly.   I still haven't done mine yet.  I'll do that now and see if it works 😉

How bizarre!  I know I've visited your page previously and it didn't have that issue, so it's weird that it would just start doing that. And I see it happening, too.

I'm sure you have, but double check your domain setup on both the Pattern and domain side.

Mine isn't having the issue (knock on wood), so hopefully it isn't Pattern-wide.

OK, I went back and checked, and I had to re-confirm that romaarellano.com is my primary domain. Not sure how it got knocked out as the primary, but it did. Perhaps something I did inadvertently while trying to connect mailchimp. Sigh. Thanks for the tips.
