Linking photos to variations

So Etsy just added a feature where you can link your photos to your variations. I've noticed that when I've linked some items on my Pattern site that I can not sell on Etsy, the photos do not link. Same goes for the items that I am seling on Etsy. Anyone else experiencing this?

Unfortunately, features added to Etsy are not automatically added to Pattern.  I'm guessing that's the situation here.

It seems to me that they would. I feel like Pattern is just Etsy's Red Headed Stepchild.

@stufforama I checked in my Etsy shop as well as my pattern shop for variations.  In my pattern shop the picture doesn't change until it is placed in the shopping cart.  Checked several times on this and each time in my pattern shop the variation picture doesn't change until it is placed in the shopping cart.  In my Etsy shop, the picture changes as soon as I choose a variation before it goes into the shopping cart.  I checked your Etsy shop and your pictures changed when I selected which size I wanted before adding it to the shopping cart.

I did check your pattern shop and found that the pictures did not change either when selected or in the shopping cart.  Don't know why this is happening especially when you have the same pictures.  Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Thanks so much for your feedback! I really appreciate you going the distance on this for me. It's really frustrating that the services they offer for your Etsy page don't transfer over to the Pattern site. Hopefully they will in the future, but I'm not holding my breath.
