How to cancel domain?

One year ago, I chose a domain name in the Pattern set up and I immediately decided that it wasn't for me. I sent several emails to Etsy with no response.  I have never used it. Does anyone know how I can cancel it to keep from getting charged the annual fee?

Etsy uses Tucks to Register their domains. I would contact them https://tucows.com

According to Etsy, you should get a renewal notice:

Renewal

If you register a domain name through OpenSRS, the registration will remain in effect for one year. OpenSRS will send you emails reminding you to renew your registration 30 days prior to the domain expiration date, 5 days prior to the domain expiration date, and 3 days after the domain expires.

(OpenSRS is part of Tucows, as mentioned by @stufforama ).  I would guess that renewal notice might also have cancellation details?

I would suggest that even if you don't want Pattern, you might want to keep your domain in case you want to use it down the road.  Just a thought.
