On the main Etsy site you can click on pictures to enlarge them, but this doesn't happen on Pattern (or not on mine anyway). In fact, the picture often gets smaller. I asked Etsy support about this and they agreed the enlarging feature doesn't work on Pattern and said sorry (helpful). I use the Swatch theme, as I have 1000+ items and like to put them in sections.
Does anyone know of a workaround for this? I can right click on the image and save it on to another web page, but this looks hopefully unprofessional to suggest to browsers.
Site is www.layoesandmedlars.com if you need to have a look.

Hi Jill! Unfortunately, Etsy has not implemented one upgrade to Pattern since they created it. None of the Etsy features work, such as videos, linking photos in variations, etc. My suggestion would be to take close up pictures of your art (which is really great btw) as you are allowed up to 10 photos per listing.
Yes, I know you're right - except with 1000 items it takes me all my time to get one photo per print right! (thank goodness for Photoshop). I'll have to think about it for selected prints that need a closer look, I think. I'll make it a new year's resolution.
Thanks for your feedback - you've got some lovely stuff too.
Jill
I also use the Swatch theme, and my photos enlarge. So I'm not sure what's going on. Could it be your photos? Are they at least 2000 pixels? That's all I can think of.
My site is funkydreams.com , if you want to look.
I'm so sorry, funky dreams. I didn't realise I had had a reply.
When I click on my pic, it becomes actually smaller, whereas yours is a little larger (beautiful website, btw).
You may be right about the pixel size. I'll have a go (don't fancy re-doing 1000+ pix, though!
Thanks for the advice.
Jill
