After some more research, I have decided to give Indiemade a try over Pattern. Besides there being a lot more tech support for Indiemade, the option to have a personalization box was the deciding factor for me. I don't have any plans to leave Etsy. I just want a simple stand alone web site too.
Here a thread about Indiemade that I started last week on the forum. I thought the information might be useful to someone else, so I'll post the link.
Thank you for all your feedback and helpful information over the last couple of months. I plan to remain a member of this group for now.
Please come back in a few weeks after you've gotten a good feeling for it and let us know how it is going! I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know. 🙂

I sure will. I just signed up for my 30 day free trial period tonight. I did do some surfing around my dash board and I really liked what I saw. And the help sections seem easy to understand. But if your really stuck on something, you can write in for help.
Just a quick update. I am still working on my indiemade web site. I have never build an entire web site so their help guide section has been really helpful and their tech support is so amazing. I always receive a reply within a couple hours. I am very happy I gave Indiemade a try.
