Happy Monday Paradise!
Finally a little time to catch up and see what you are all up to!
I am finished with my weekend sales now and just the two weekly farmer`s markets for a while. The sale this weekend was really well organized and a beautiful garden venue along with great weather. Lots of customers and my daughter`s fairy garden things sold out the first day. It was the best sale I have had with pottery so far.
But we are also very low on stock, not to mention exhausted, so I cancelled the Tuesday farmer`s market to get caught up. We should be able to make some small things and get them fired for the Friday market which will be a special Canada Day one. Maybe get some things on Etsy this week I hope.

Everything has been on hold here as my mobile phone decided to have serious fits including freezing and shutting down - and not letting me into many of my apps. In the end, since, it was insured, I arranged to get a replacement. The insurance screwed up twice and sent the wrong phone. I was not happy. I finally spoke to a supervisor and they upgraded my phone and I now have a Samsung Galaxy S7. Learning way around it now.
So I can start taking pictures again and post on Instagram and make new listings at last.

Thanks, Ruth and Leslie. It feels good. 13 days (2 courses and one portfolio day) and I am done. Of course, school will start two weeks later... AFTER I get a job, that is. Still looking and hoping for a great district.

Canada is celebrating its 150th Birthday today. I will be going to my daughter's house for a barbecue. I shall take a homemade lemon meringue pie - I was up early this morning to make it.

Took my grandchildren out yesterday to celebrate the end of school. Buffet lunch, a trip to the dollar store, and then to the beading/gem stores. That resulted in me making Fiona some earrings (aqua of course) and Seamus a matte tiger eye bracelet.

Just read something in the forums. Shops with 1000 items in their shops tend to have more sales... like 10,000 sales.
SO, get to listing everyone! haha.

I let a lot of items expire. Months that start with "J" are usually my slow months online... slower than the other slow months.

But, I am starting to renew a lot of them... and a lot of them at 50% off.
I now have 411 items listed in my shop. And I have 216 expired items.
Even renewing all of them, I would only have 627 items. I just need to list everything that is ready to ship. So... many deals in my shop.

CIJ ChristmasInJuly sale is going on now on Etsy : July 1-10
(And the whole month... but those days are advertised.)

JULS- thank you so much. I did just put Shaggy on vacation for now, closed Market.

Without going into a lot of detail, horrible sisuation with husband hospitalized - had lost job 4 mos ago - and has had a complete mental breakdown. It is very bad. Dont know if we will ever get him back. on top of that, his job was our sole source of income, so i am without income, insurance for him, etc. need to file bankrupcy, try to get stat to take care of him... really it could not be any worse.if he had died, it would have been better than this.

so, thats where i am sitting right now....

Sorry to hear that Nancy. I have been through it. I was lucky that there was a good daily therapy/social program to go to and the meds they put me on worked. I also had a job to go back to. I was on meds for a year and therapy too. I just got myself back to feeling like me again when I got hit by a car. If it wasn't for all the therapy I had had I would have ended back in the psych ward. I hope your husband is getting good care and that you both have a good support system. Remember that we are here for you. We are part of your support system!
