There is no teacher shortage for a regular class grades TK - 5 in the entire county and the neighboring county. There are lots of candidates. Lots and lots, apparently. The nicest thing I can say is BUMMER.

Oh, my sewing machine repair cost me $488.50 Yep.
No, I am not kidding. I was quite shocked. My cutter is still a bit off. The thread tears and I have to rethread the needle. For the amount I paid, it should be perfect. I had to charge the bill.
So, the sale is definitely on. I will probably start changing prices tomorrow night... so it might be for a bit more than 24 hours. I really need to pay off that bill.

For your notifications, do you see EVERY SINGLE item price change that I am doing? Do you have a 20 next to your icon on the right what shows 19 notifications from me?

Hello. 206 items have been individually reduced to crazy prices. I am tired at the computer. But, tonight at midnight, I will be removing all of those great prices. It's giving me something to do, and hopefully giving others some great shopping deals.

Well, this STINKS with a capital U....
"To make it easier for shoppers to find listings with competitive shipping prices, Etsy search factors shipping price into search ranking. Lowering your shipping prices makes your items more likely to rank higher in search."

So forget that your item weighs over 1 lb. and the USPS charges $14 to ship it! Most clothing vendors charge under $5. Well I am selling sweatshirts, not t-shirts!!!! I cannot absorb the cost of shipping and do not feel it is ethical to charge $55 for a hoodie and $5 for shipping when the hoodie actually costs $14 to ship.... $14.85 with Etsy taking 5% of the cost of shipping. It's AWFUL that I will be dinged in the SEO because of it, too.
This is just WRONG, Etsy!!!!

It annoys me to know end that Etsy feels it has to TEACH ME how to price my shipping. Shipping costs what the USPS charges. And maybe, I add 50 cents for tissue, sticker, business card, packing foam or bubbles, pouch, box. Oh... maybe I am LOSING money in this deal! AND, I am being punished for USPS charging so much. Etsy, DON'T punish me for my shipping fees. I DON'T GET ANY OF THAT MONEY!

And don't forget, I live on the coast. Shipping ACROSS THE COUNTRY costs more for me than those that live in the middle of the U.S. Seriously!

Hi, Paradise Friends.
I sold a patch today. (Yay!)
It was not on sale... so, no birthday sales.
I spent about 9 hours yesterday and 4 hours today setting up every single listing with the blurb, the photo that said one day sale, the banner, and over 260 listings. I went into the forums and onto my teams and posted about the sale... posted a few items in pictures.

There are 30 minutes left to my sale here on the west coast. I am afraid that I have lost my optimism for sales.

I don't think I will get ALL of items changed over tonight. I will have to change the rest over tomorrow.
But, in 27 minutes, I will begin removing the sale prices, pictures and blurb.
