Hey Cheryl, thanks for the link. i just checked this thread and saw heater's request. I've been spending more time on craftsy following others' shops in hopes that it will boost traffic to my shop. i got a sale the day after finding a bunch of new designers to follow, so i think its working (or maybe just a pure coincidence?)
aside from the convenience of auto-downloading, I LOVE that craftsy doesn't charge listing fees or commissions. i wonder how long that will be the case, or if they make enough on the video workshops that they wont need to charge designers. in the future, im hoping to see more of the services that etsy offers like the forums and stats pages, but all those things cost money..so i can do without if it means more of my sales in MY pocket. i also think that us being the earliest members in the "pattern dept" will put us at a huge advantage in the long run- with more time to accumulate followers and therefore get more exposure.
