I'm 24 years old and I'm currently a college student majoring in Computer Science with emphasis on software engineering. I just opened my shop selling baby clothing and accessories in September. I spend most of my time studying, on my computer and sewing (as you can see, I'm not a very eventful person lol).

I have been crafting pretty much my whole life, but baby clothing is a new hobby for me. My mother also creates some of the items in my shop. I am working on getting her to sit down and write a bio for the shop.

I have been sewing since I was 8 years old, however; with school and life events I took a break for a few years. Recently I wanted to start sewing again, but I had no desire to make anything for myself so I figured baby clothing is perfect! I can be as creative as I want, they're small projects and what's cuter than baby clothing? Right?

Hi everyone! My name is Alisha and I'm a full time working mom and have my etsy shop on the side. I have an almost 11 month old (on Dec. 4)!! So as you can image I keep pretty busy. Thankfully my husband is supportive and helps with the baby so I can get my craft on! I never really got into crafting until my wedding when I decided to make a lot of DIY projects and then when I was pregnant I got even more into crafting. In my shop I sell a variety of things, but mostly baby items. I have headbands, twine wrapped letters, baby closet dividers, and a few other things. I love custom orders and always up for a challenge!

Hello everyone! I am the owner/designer of OliveJuice Stylez. A little about me... I just turned 32. I am married and the mom of 2 gorgeous daughters. I have a day job as a life insurance agent but my passion is tending to my shop. I'm just waiting for it to really take off so that I can truly love what I do. I design and create hair accessories and baby accessories. I am a hoarder of DIY tutorials.

About my shop... the name comes from an inside joke I share with my oldest daughter. We would mouth the words "olive juice" to each other instead of "I love you" and trick each other. My oldest daughter Jessica has super thick and curly hair while my youngest, Leila, has thin, baby fine hair. I've always had a hard time finding accessories that "stay". I learned quite a few tricks to tackle both hair types and I take pride in my work. I offer a variety of hair accessories as well as baby shoes, and covered wipe cases. I am always open to requests as well!

I am glad to be a member here and I'm eager to meet everyone, even it's it just for networking! :)

HI. I'm a single mom of a 6 year old son. I'm 32, live in southern MO. I sewed alot when I was younger, did 4-H. Then I got older and stopped. Just a few months ago started sewing, working on quilts. Bought a new sewing machine! My mom helps me out alot. Shes been making skirts for girls. So cute. I've been enjoying doing baby and crib quilts

I have a full time job, try and sew whenever I can!

Hi there Mona Those baby sets are so cute! :) Getting an Etsy store off the ground does take some time, but I am sure you will do well! If you don't have a Facebook Fanpage yet, Get one! That is where I seem to get the most exposure and the few sales I have made so far came from Facebook exposure. Also get a Pinterest and Twitter if you don't have them. You have awesome product pictures!!

Hi Leigh, I'm really loving those quilts! It's nice to see brightly colored quilts in a nursery. :) Those skirts are adorable too! I bet if you do them as custom order you will do VERY well!! I know It's hard to maintain a shop when you're so busy! Believe me, I know! :) Good luck!!

Hi there Jessica! I am in the same boat as you. I haven't been open long and have made 2 sales so far. Persistence is key I supposed. The rest is networking and improving on pictures, product, and inventory. I don't know if I have yet, but If I haven't I will be starting a "What have you learned through trial and error on Etsy thread (maybe with a shorter name lol)

Hello everyone!

I have been on etsy for less than a year and so far things have been ok. I started making my headbands & hats to help spread awareness about Brooke's blossoms n buddies which is an organization that helps children suffering from neuroblastoma.

I also like making the headbands after a hard day at work and it helps me bond with my three lovely daughters because they are always telling me what's fashionable right now and which color combinations are "in" for that season. Having a hobby also helps me stay busy and feel young.

I hope you'll take a look at my items and I'll gladly return the favor. I am willing to hear comments on my store and if you can see any necessary improvements. I'm still new to this and tech challenged. haha. Thanks for listening!

We're Aleksandra and Joanna Łanuszewska - daughter (cross-stitch) and mother (embroidery) from Poland. We have no young kids, but we have friends who do. While Joanna (mom) does no baby stuff yet, Aleksandra (daughter) cross-stitches on bibs and baby towels, and makes birth samplers too. I'm an RN, but currenty at home with my little guy. Have been creating for many years, and have been illustrating names for about 18 years. Children's designs are my favorite, but I also have a love for illustrating scripture - only have 2 in my shop right now, though...
