We wanted to share some great assets that Etsy created this year to help you promote your presence at OOAK. In US English they read "Shop Gifts Right In Your Neighborhood" and can be uploaded to Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter. All you have to do is share your booth number at OOAK and include any other info you think is relevant as a caption, tweet, or comment and you're good to go! Hi friends, I'd like to share a couple tips with you that will help you with transactions on the Sell on Etsy app. I recommend using these tips before the show, they'll help you be better prepared when you make a sale using the Etsy card reader. Practice Swipe: Open the Sell on Etsy app. In the menu, tap on "Dashboard & Sell Now" and then tap on "Sell Now" in the top right hand side of your screen. Tap on "Settings & Help "on the bottom of the page. Under "Sell in Person," tap on Swipe Practice. Plug your reader in if you haven't done so already. Practice away so you can swipe in confidence every time you make a new sale at OOAK! Quick Sale: If you have one off items that aren't up in your Etsy shop, you can sell them using our Quick Sale feature. I recommend using this feature to better keep track of the one off sales that you made during the show, it'll help you see how much you made on any given day really quickly. To make this process even more seamless, I advise sellers to take photos of their one off items ahead of time using their smartphone camera. The photos can then be added to quick sales easily and efficiently. Not only will your buyers see what they bought in the photo if they opt in for a receipt, but you'll have a nice looking photo in the sales section of your Etsy shop.
