When I first went on the road working at Renaissance faires last year, I got a lot of questions from friends and family members about why anyone would want to do such a thing, what the living conditions were like, what sorts of people I met, etc., so I started a blog - http://lacewingcostumes.wordpress.com. I've found it's a great way to share my thoughts and pictures while I'm away, as well as express myself with words rather than fabric.

Does anyone else blog as well? Please share if you do!

I like your blog. i was thinking about doing something like that since i get ppl asking me to do that too, being on the road and all. What shows do you do? We are headed to AZ next week maybe we will see you there!

I have a blog, too! My partner and I live in a school bus and travel the country in search of adventure ... we've been at it for three years now and are still LOVING it! We get a LOT of the same questions (why? where? how? huh?). Aren't they fun?!? We started our blog mostly for sharing photos of places we've been and to let folks know where we are. It's fun keeping a blog, but I find that I only update it once or twice a season.

I am SO SO SO glad that this team exists and I'm excited to be a part of it!

I just checked out your blog, and it looks amazing! So professional! Where all have you been with these fairs? Sounds like something I would love to do... although, I would not be doing the seamstress portion of the fair - I wish I could though! That sounds fabulous!
