I am in hammond, LA about an hour north of NOLA. I only do renaissance faires so i am not sure how other shows are doing here but we are doing fairly well considering the economy here! I am enjoying the warm weather as well!
Also in case you are looking for a new way to find shows.. I just did this as well. There is a site called zaplication and you create a profile and then you can search juried art shows in any area and apply with your profile on line. Just an idea if anyone is looking for another way to get into local art festivals :)
