BTW Michelle I JUST realized that you live in Anaheim...you would think that the "Euclid Street" would have hinted to me earlier. Or maybe I did know and totally forgot??
I moved to anaheim in 2006 to fulfill my lifelong dream of working at DL and had a fabulous time there until I started to have kids and was able to stay home instead. Loved my time in Anaheim! Anywho...howdy neighbor!
Mama Berry, I know we're going on a tangent here, but I'd love to know what you did at Disneyland! I too had a lifelong dream to work there, which came true briefly one summer when I worked in Toontown. Fun times. =)
total tangent...but that's what forums are for...right?
I was at DL for 5 years. I worked as a Photopass photographer for 2 years, then moved into the offices and was a Resort Ambassador for a few years. My last gig was with the Grand Californian Valet/Bell team. Just when I got into management training I had to go on bedrest with my daughter...and I never went back! :) I do miss it though...
In totally surprising news (for me anyway) I've had 3 sales since Friday!!! I don't believe it. I went nearly two months without a single sale then boom! One of the sales was BIG too!! Hooray!!! Still haven't sold a single item that I made myself. Starting to question my crafting abilities....
Maybe it'll be a good holiday season after all. : )
Thanks Mama. No I couldn't tell how they found me. I haven't started advertising yet so that's not it. I haven't made any treasuries lately either (those usually increase the traffic in my shop). It must have been by chance. I changed a lot of the tags in my shop last week, but I don't think I touched the tags on the items that sold. Go figure.
Thanks, Morgan and Jeana! Also, congrats, Jeana!!! That's awesome! It's funny how sales often bunch together like that. It's almost like customers were conspiring to surprise you. =)
And Mama Berry, I worked in Toontown during the summer of 2007, which was...eek, longer ago than I thought haha. What a small world (hah) it is if we had been there at the same time!
Ha! We were there together! I was working with Photopass the summer of 2007 but spent most of my time in DCA or in the office. every once in a while I would spend a shift in Mickey's house. :)
Ahh how funny! Yes, I definitely used to work in Mickey's house--they rotated us between there, Roger Rabbit, and Gadget Go-Coaster. Definitely a small world. =)
