I would like to have a little bit of information about the people on this team without having to go to each individual page to look everyone up!! Can you please post a little bit about yourself, what you are promoting and how long you have been on Etsy?
Thanks! I will start!

Re: Introductory Thread

Hi everyone! I just signed up and opened shop a few weeks ago; I sell jewelry (and, eventually, other small trinkets) with fantasy or steampunk themes. I've been beading necklaces since I was a kid, now I'm hoping all that practice will be good for something besides the occasional Christmas gift. Anyway, it's nice to meet you all! Good luck to everyone here, I hope all of our shops do well. :)

Re: Introductory Thread

I joined Etsy almost 4 months ago. I do all kinds of knitting and crocheting. I have always been a crafter but knitting and crochet has become my passion. One of my more popular items right now are the Converse Style slippers.

Re: Introductory Thread

Hello Everyone! I am so very excited to be part of Etsy. I joined last month and sell my original abstract artworks.
I am currently working on trying to increase the traffic to my store and add new paintings to my inventory.
Loving all the different and amazing sellers I am coming across as I research and get more familiar with Etsy!

Re: Introductory Thread

My name is Ferin and I just posted my first items today! I am really lost and overwhelmed with how this works. There are so many articles to read about etsy and I don't know where to start! I guess you could say I'm looking for a mentor lol! I love making unique items that have a whimsy look. I just posted my cloud lamps because they are my favorite thing right now. I'm just not sure if my shop is right? Any suggestions for a complete newbie? Thanks and I look forward to learning from you all!

Re: Introductory Thread

Hello Everyone! I just opened my shop yesterday and there is a lot learn! I already posted two items - Phoebe purses. I was gifted a hand-me-down sewing machine last year and have become obsessed! I love making things and recently received some positive reviews on the purse I made for myself. I finally got the courage to open a shop and try Etsy out! So please feel free to check out my shop and even just leave a review of my work.

Thank you and its nice to meet everyone! :)

Re: Introductory Thread

Hi I was directed to etsy from a from who saw I loved to make wreaths and crafts. I am a stay at home mom and new to Etsy as a whole. I haven't posted anything just yet because I want to make sure I understand the in's and out's of it and how to go about everything. Does anyone have any advice on how to make a shop profitable or how to get noticed. Also I see so many lovely wreaths but they range so greatly in price. How do you decide the pricing on your items and how much for shipping. I have been looking up how to make custom sized boxes but also looking into seeing if local grocery stores can save larger boxes. I'm also trying to figure out the best way to ship as to not damage or compress any of the wreath or decorations. I apologize if these questions are all posted often or already asked I haven't figured out yet how to exactly look for or search just yet. Any input, advice, or suggestions is extremely appreciated. Thank you so much.

Re: Introductory Thread

My grandma has been making handmade jewelry for more than 14 years now. She asked me to set up an online shop for her. She repurposes vintage and broken jewelry pieces to create one-of-a-kind necklace and earrings sets. I would like to hear what you think.

Thank you and God Bless!

I've been on etsy a few months, but had to take a small break. I am trying to get my wreath business off the ground. I can do everything from ball, cork, or decomesh with some grapevine work thrown in.

Re: Introductory Thread

Wow its been a month since anyone has posted in here XD

Well I've been on etsy for a few days now, I don't really have an awesome story. I'm just someone who has a lot of little hobbies and loves to do crafts (though I wish I was more creative lol)

Hi everyone! I just opened my shop a couple of days ago so I'm still trying to get the hang of what Etsy can offer.

I currently make illustrated art zines and prints of my illustrations! I'll also be grateful for any advice or pointers anyone here can offer. Thanks!

Re: Introductory Thread

I just reopened my shop 2 weeks ago. I sew bags that are perfect for everything. You can use them to carry a knitted/crocheted project, cosmetics, or anything else you need. A great way to keep your purse organized too!

I'd appreciate any/all feedback! I'm working hard to make my first sale.

Here's one of my favorite bags so far!

I am very new to selling on Etsy. My shop was initially opened last year, but due to time constraints I officially re-opened for business within the last couple of weeks. I love creating my jewelry, and am having fun learning about Etsy selling.

Re: Introductory Thread

I am a new seller to Etsy. Right now I am focusing on vintage items, but there are some homemade items or revived items I would eventually like to get into.

I just opened my shop 3 days ago. I haven't sold anything yet, but have over 100 views ... I hope that is good.

I am looking for some feedback on my shop as well as to learn everything I can about how to be successful here.

Right now something I know I am struggling with is pricing shipping, does anyone have a method they use to be as accurate as possible?

Re: Introductory Thread

Hello there, my name is Leslie. I make and sell (primarily through Facebook) wooden growth charts. I am looking to expand those sales on etsy. Within the next few days I will be adding additional inventory to my shop and will be making additional items in the near future. I have been on etsy for about a month and have yet to make a sale.

Hello! My name is Caroline. I opened my shop about a month ago. I sell flannel and minky burp cloth sets and jeweled, mosaic wall art. I have had a lot of views, but haven't made a sale yet. I like that Etsy gives you the dashboard to see how you're doing and where your traffic is coming from - that's great! I just have to figure out how to turn those clickers into buyers! Nice to meet everyone!
