Hello I am a member of Spydercrafts, there is 3 of us in our shop. We make plastic canvas crafts.
We opened in November, but didn't start listing anything till December, so we missed the xmas sales. We have only had 31 sales, and hoping things pick up.

My shop has a grand total of 1 item and is VERY new. I'm planning on listing several more items over the coming weeks as I get them made. I make handmade bags, accessories, children's toys, candles, and the like. Kind of a mixed bag. I'm starting out here at the request of some of my friends who have been pestering me to death to sell my bags and such.

I built my store back in 2008 but never ended up actually getting any items in here until a week ago. I also changed the name 3 times!
I have named the shop after our pup (in the photo). He is a service dog to my boyfriend who has cerebral palsy and we also have a blog and facebook page for him. He is pretty popular.
I have had 2 sales (4 items total) already. Both from fans of my dog! Whatever it takes to buy his IMMENSE amount of kibble!
Right now I sell just Christmas ornaments, because of limited time, but I plan to add knitted items, digital art, and possibly jewelry and see what does best.

Hi! I've been on Etsy for about 5 days and I'm learning every day! I'm a photographer and I sell my prints and am hoping to add some photo gifts in time for the holiday season. I have a few phone cases listed so far and plan to add notecards and calendars.

I have gotten what I think are good views, but am still waiting for that first sale, and hopefully many more to follow.

Hi. I'm new to the team. I've been on Etsy since late Nov 2013. My shop is a group effort with my 2 daughters. My oldest, Claire, is 12. It was her idea to open a shop on Etsy. It's her dream to own her own shop one day. I thought this would be a great experience for her. Turns out I'm loving it too! We sell handmade jewelry and hair accessories, but we plan on expanding to baby items as well.

Hi all,

I opened up my Etsy shop just over a week ago. I'm not sure what I had expected in terms of traffic/views and orders, but so far, it's been a lot of work for not a lot of results. Looking at a lot of store that have been open for months or even years, I don't see a lot of sales in general, which is a little disheartening as well. Not sure if other new shop owners feel the same way, but I suppose I should give myself more time and keep working.

I'd love some feedback from other new shop owners: https://www.etsy.com/shop/WordsTurnedIntoArt. I mostly create custom, digital artwork. Any comments on pricing, the images I'm using, my designs, etc. would be appreciated. Perhaps in a private conversation.

Also, does anyone know of a good online service that would be able to print my digital files and mail them directly to the buyers? I think the fact that I'm selling digital files that the buyers need to take to a print shop might be a deterrent. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Hello everyone!

My shop is nomadhouse and it's a curated vintage home goods shop that donates 5% of proceeds to help end homelessness. The idea to open a shop came to me last year when I moved into a 100 year old house and I started searching for and falling in love with the imperfect and unique beauty that only vintage items have.

I just opened last week so am slowly building a social media presence and learning the ropes of marketing and promoting my items. Biggest opportunity right now is getting instagram followers! I would love it if you'd check it out @nomadhouse

I just joined Etsy last week! Although I've been meaning to for a while now! I'm currently a graduate student in Texas and I've been crocheting since I can remember. Last year I sold a few items on Craigslist and a university website in Missouri (where I completed my undergraduate degree). Since then I've been interested in trying to sell my crocheted items on the side. My mother also helps stock my Etsy shop since I don't enough time to finish everything myself. My favorite items to make are my mustache cozies! Although I am currently only selling the mustache versions, I've also made frogs cozies and flower cozies, I plan to put my flower cozies up to sell next week sometime! Here is the cozy:

I just opened mine and my friends etsy shop a couple weeks ago and have had one sale so far. I'm still trying to figure it all out and still have a bunch of stuff I need to photograph and get up. I'm learning my photography skills are lacking a bit lol. I do all of the crocheting and my friend does embroidery, we've been selling to friends and friends of friends for the last year and at craft fairs for the last couple of months. By day, I am a HR professional who has finally reached their, "I've had it moment". After 20 years of HR, I'm over it so I need to find alternative sources of income and a new career path. I really love creating greeting cards and want to grow this business.
