Newbie!

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am not so new to Etsy but new to this group! I'd love to meet other mom's going through the same thing I am and trying to make a little cash on the side.

I worked the first year my daughter was born then decided to be a stay at home mom. Unfortunately where we live you can't do with just one income. It's way too expensive here. In February I started doing child care from my home for two children and am now doing it for just one. I love being able to stay at home and watch my daughter grow and taking care of other children is the best job I could have asked for.

But what I love to do for me.. is craft! If I could make a little money on the side just to keep up the cost of crafting - this mommy would be happy!

So I hope to get to know you all better and share some tips and hints ;)

Hi Jennifer! I'm new here, also. I have been buying from Etsy for years and finally decided to open a shop. I make jewelry--mostly earrings and necklaces.

I am a SAHM, too, as well as a children's author. Next year I'll have one child in preschool and one in 3rd grade, so I will have more time to devote to writing and creating jewelry.

I only began listing last week, immediately sold two items, and now have about 2 dozen things to list. It's fun and as long as I'm creating, I'm happy. A little extra dough on the side is a bonus.

I am looking forward to checking out all the sellers in this group.

Hi! I am new too! I would love to meet others in the same place as me also:) I have 1 daughter, who is 4. I need to earn a small income so that I don't have to go back to work! I love staying home with my daughter.
