I have just gone through the list of members for the Made in Devon team and have followed as many as I can find on twitter. Found just over 50 twitter accounts out of the 130+members.

If I have missed you or you don’t have a link to your twitter account in your Etsy shop, leave message here so people can follow you.

I have compiled as many Made in Devon Etsy people as I can find into a Twitter list.

And don’t forget to use and to look out for tweets with #DevonEtsy when you are in the mood for mutual Etsy promotion!

It's Devon Hour tomorrow between 8-9pm.

I will take part if I'm awake & in front of the computer at the right time.
I've taken part before and was amazed at how quick flowing it is. I'm a bit slow on the computer so I shall have a few pre prepared tweets ready to use when I can. It's good to try and reply & interact if you can.

Phew! Just had a very exhausting #DevonHour. Only spotted a couple of Made in Devon team members there, but made sure I re-tweeted you when I spotted you.

Net result for me was that I gathered 4 or 5 new followers, had various tweets retweeted, favourite or commented on. And according to the shop stats here, one of the items I tweeted during Devon Hour received 10 views in that time. Considering my shop has had a very flat day with only 24 views in total so far, that is a significant result – even if it didn’t result in any sales................yet......

Does that encourage you to have a go at #DevonHour next Wednesday eve? My tip is to keep the search #DevonHour open so that’s all you concentrate on between 8-9pm.

I like devonhour!
I wasn't there for very long the other day, I wasn't feeling motivated to push stuff ;) lol
But yes, if you have photos and links lined up ready to go, you can get some great results
and #handmadehour on a wednesday aswell 7.30pm-9.30pm

so you can always tag #devonhour and #handmadehour in the same tweet!

I haven't had any sales through twitter yet, but I definitely see a build up in traffic when i've promoted particular things

Every now and then I do a quick search for #DevonEtsy so that I can Re-Tweet Made in Devon members. .... But there's only 2 of us using it now and then. Come on guys, make it easier to support each other.
Hopefully - it's a two way street!

Social media really can make a difference!
I made a couple of sales this month that are direct result of social media in what has otherwise been a quiet month for me.

It's not an instant thing, you have to build up some traction. You only get as much out of it as you are willing to put in.

If you would like to support your fellow team members on Twitter (& get some support back in return), subscribing to my list is one easy way to do that. ( I see a couple of people already are :-) )

Using the hashtag #DevonEtsy would help - but people haven’t got into the habit yet - please give it a go! I look for #DevonEtsy things to retweet.
#madeindevon already gets used in a general way for things made in Devon and aren’t necessarily anything to do with this team.

Anyone else have some tips on how to get the most out of twitter....??
