I joined another team that is there simply for Etsy sellers to swap and trade items. The process looks pretty simple, but you must follow some rules to avoid getting into trouble with Etsy for fee avoidance. It is important that the buyer selects "other" in the payment type and that the seller marks it as paid. You can still leave reviews for each other, it counts as sales in your stats and you don't have to pay the card processing fees. BUT, you must pay the seller fees involved.
I thought it might be worth bringing up as Christmas is coming and it might save us team members a little cash. Just a thought. If we post what we are looking for and what we are willing to consider trading, hopefully we will have some results. Everyone needs to be open to suggestions, but we cannot take offence if someone says that they don't want to trade for what you are offering. Sellers, put yourself in the buyers position.
I'll kick it off. I would consider trading anything in my shop for;
Leather goods, Gifts for an 8 year old girl, gifts for a 5 year old boy (both advanced for their ages, proud dad speak), Gifts for a lady in her 30's, gifts for "young" over 60 men and women, Beeswax, baking stuff, art (particularly moorland and seascape), craft kits, allsorts of things really.
Convo me if there is something you have to offer and I have something you would like.
Best wishes,
Damian
