Splitting the shop

I have come to the conclusion that if I leave Janners Mugs as mugs, beer steins, water bottles and travel mugs that makes sense.
The other things I print can then go in a second shop where they make more sense together.
My website has already started it's transition back to the core items. I appear to be doing a good job of creating a lot of work for myself!
The bonus is that it is all starting to make some sense now.

Does that make sense to anybody else other than me?

Re: Splitting the shop

Yes definitely Janners. I am finding that my shop is naturally moving more towards a wedding / bridal theme and way from general occasion cards. Plus. a coherent, and themed shop is much easier to market, SEO and generally maintain I think!

Re: Splitting the shop

agree!
I started out selling all things vintage plus my mannequins. I wanted to fill my website but as time went by I could see that specialising in the one thing was the way to go. There's still room for variety but the core of my business is mannequins.
