Hi. I'm new here and thought I'd hit the ground running with a question that's been gnawing at me for awhile. If any of you sell larger macrame pieces (wall hangings, plant hangers, etc) or woven pieces, what are your tips for photographing them? My craft/photography room is a faded shade of faint green, with a heavy yellow tone. It's awful. I can't really afford to paint the whole room right now and my body can't really handle that work even if I could. So, how do I make my photos look better? Has anyone tried using a white muslin photography backdrop or is that a dumb idea? I was thinking of hanging it in place and attaching the wall hangings to the wall through the cloth with a nail or something. I could just keep the nail in one spot and use it for each piece I need to take pictures of. (I wanted to attach a pic I took of my first tree of life macrame wall hanging, but it won't let me here.)
