I am very happy to report that I am now CPSIA compliant. I had a third party approved lab do the testing. Besides the cost, it was all relatively painless.
The CPSIA has many sellers of childrens' items on edge, no doubt about that. Even so, any discussion about the topic, or any other on the Etsy Forums, must be met with respect for the people involved in that discussion. Please keep that in mind, please don't call out other members of the Etsy community, and please don't let the fun you have here come at any other member's expense.
