Hi!!! (this is mamaslittlemonkeys...my alter ego)

You are FORMALLY invited to a THANK YOU party! Although we are not through fighting CPSIA, there has been TREMENDOUS hard work done by many people, including some key people who have worked tirelessly to help fight for all of us.

Special Guests of Honor, who we show are gratitude are:

(and of course, our etsy admins!!)

These of course are only a few of the people who have helped to try to save handmade, and I surely do not want to leave anyone out...these are just the ones I personally have seen make a tremendous effort on behalf of US as handmade artisans. (please if you feel I'm leaving anyone out, let me know!!)

Of course this is a sort of celebratory party...we are not in the clear, but we have made a small step. Even if we must fight for years to come, we should congratulate ourselves on the work we've done thus far and how we have banded together as a community!

SOOO, tell your friends, your mama, ANYONE who sells handmade (does NOT have to be just Etsy sellers), anyone who buys or just LOVES handmade and agrees with our cause!

Yes, you are leaving some people out...the thousands of bloggers, petition signers, everyone who called the CPSC, everyone who called a politician, everyone who wrote a politician, everyone who emailed a politician, everyone who did a media interview, everyone who priced a CPSIA special, everyone who called a media source, everyone who talked to a neighbor, family member or vendor, everyone who wrote in the forums, everyone who said a prayer, crossed their fingers, and crossed their toes.

Thank You...everyone who did whatever they could, no matter how small or how big.

Minimonster...of course it goes without saying we have ALL done many things to help fight CPSIA...thats why its not just a thank you to the major players but to ALL who fought to save handamde..and also a sort of 'mini celebration' bc although we have a long road to go, it would be nice to kick back and enjoy how hard we all have worked, not just in fighting CPSIA but in our love of handmade!

I have chosen those 4 "figures" (plus the etsy admin...but thats a lotta ppl..so they are an invite in and of themselves! LOL) because they have been some of the biggest entities in the fight! Naturally, it's not just Dan at handmadetoyalliance..so his invite goes to all of his 'crew'...and so on and so forth.

HENCE my question if you know of any other major websites, organizations, who could benefit from a thank you, please invite them!!

No one take offense just because you're not a 'guest of honor'...we're ALL guests of honor in this party!!

Witchy, the pancakes were delicious. I did not know that you were such a good cook. Tonight, its filet mignon and live/dead Maine lobster tail with fresh garden salad campfire side! Real happy you chose to do breakfasts and me dinners. Wait for tomorrows menu...

Off to chat with the other campers in line...

Geezzz... hope we don't get a stampeed at dinner. I only brougt enough food for the two of us. Didn't realize the crowd would grow so big and so fast!

Oh, hotlips thanks for doing the chips and dip! Yes, hotlips, we all sew need to pat ourselves on the back for blogging on the CPSIA.
