For anyone making clothing, you also have to follow labeling laws already in place (I think someone already posted that). If you use a fold-over label, you can put your company name, location info on one side and care instructions, DOM, etc on the reverse and sew them into a seam...
I am justing writing the necessary info on my bears butts with fine point Sharpy . . . and I am proud to put USA on my products, not EVERYTHING we buy has to be made in China or Vietnam.
Simple, but I like them. I got them through one of factories the clothing co I used to work for used. They were 5000 for $100. Can't beat that ________________________________________________
Those do look nice...but are you going to change them to add the other required information (location, date, contents, etc.)
I'm just not sure how to keep the label size small and include all of the required information.
I'm going to keep the label that my tee shirts come with, because care instructions are included on this, but have my own label detailing what we need to include (DOM, location, company) - I will then sew both labels into the side seam together.
The top woven label was ordered from Everest Label. I printed the bottom cloth label on my inkjet printer. When folded, the content label measures 1" wide x 1-3/8" high. There are 1/4" allowances at each end of both labels for sewing them into a seam. The month and year change to match the production date of the finished item.
