Hi, I make baby wipe cases and they are covered in fabric and ribbons and such. Would my products be excluded or would I need to get them tested? They are not meant to be used by a child. So, I am a little confused. Thank you so much.
i don't believe it would count... there is a link that is an unofficial chart that will help you determine this though .. hold on i'll try to find it again..
here ya go.. its the cpsia-testing requirement flowchart, an easy follow the arrow type of chart that tells you if you need testing or not.. hope it helps and sorry it took so long
happynlove, even if you determine that the wipe cases are considered by the government not for use by child personally I would included a warning to the customer / parents that the case is not a toy and not meant to be used as a pacifier while changing the baby. I live in a resort area and see almost daily parents changing a little one and after they take a wipe or 2 out of the case they give the case to the child to play with or mouth as a distraction while they finish the necessary task. It's basically a case of CYA.
