That's where I saw it this morning, on the Today Show... just a quickie, but they specifically stated that it was because of Chinese imports, which is understandable with all the reports of children's items being found so unsafe lately. Also why I questioned (on another thread) why they've extended it to domestic handmade items, since I doubt that was the original intent of the law. As usual, the gov't gets involved and carries it a step too far.
