Printing INK CPSIA Labels

Can someone help me understand how I can make/print CPSIA LABELS-
1. What ink is ok to use on CPSIA labels? Brand names?
2. Any suggestions on how I can make/print my own labels?

Thank you!

Re: Printing INK CPSIA Labels

CMYK Inks (that means anything used in your printer) is exempt from testing because it is impossible for this ink to contain too much lead.

I use an inkjet printer with CMYK ink. If you'd like to convo me I'll send you a description of my process, etc.

Re: Printing INK CPSIA Labels

JUst go to Joann's and buy June Taylor INk Jet printer cotton sew in fabric, sheets in white or ivory and follow the directions on the package. That is what I've use for 2 years. You just need to follow the directions for colorfastnestness. You can also buy it online from them. Joann.com. I go pm;oneline to Avery.com and use one of their templates. I use one that is approx 3" x 1" so I can get 3 across by about 10-11 down on each sheet. . I cut them apart with pinking shears.

Beverly, do you usually also print out your own care label and main labels, any suggestions on good suppliers? Thanks.

Re: Printing INK CPSIA Labels

I purchase my woven designer labels from Heirloom labels, and my woven FTC labels from NWTag.com.

I cut the CPSIA labels apart with pinking sheers.
