I am a Chinese college students.One month ago I opened a shop on Etsy which sells the traditional Chinese cloth shoes, they are all hand–made. It is inherited from our ancestors and has a history of hundreds of years.
Just a few days ago, I sold a pair of shoes. But after then, Etsy said subjectively that four pairs of the shoes are not made by myself , so all of my shoes are off the shelf and I was forced to close my shop (without prior notice ). Morover, there are many customers interested in my shoes, they also intended to buy it. As my store was closed ,it is really affect me a lot, the store’s reputation is severely damaged at the same time.
My shop on Etsy called HandmadeShoesArt, obviously there is no goods now because of the closure,and I can not upload any products.You can take a look at.
I feel sad and I don't know what I should do.
Please help me.

have you contact Etsy admin? what did they say?

maybe it'll be hard to reactive your shop

You can not sell items that are not handmade by you. If does not matter if they are inherited from your ancestors and has a history of hundreds of years If you did not make them with your own two hands only, you may not sell them on ETSY.

In addition, you may not discuss issues of a private nature about your shop, or convos, or sales in the forums. You need to discuss these issues only with the administration.

OP didnt say the shoes were inherited what she said as I see it is the technique was passed down the generations.
Also this is only a private matter if OP chooses to make it private? She isnt from the US and I fell was just asking about something she didnt understand.

Yes, I agree with Faye and archaic. You have to hand make those shoes. I checked out your shop a moment ago and it looks to me like you just purchased them from some suppliers and sold them on Etsy.
