If you would like to see a photo of my custom yardage with my CPSIA tracking labels that I had printed by Spoonflower, you can convo me and I will attach a picture to a return convo. I received 312 labels for $16.20 including shipping. I just need to cut them out whenever i need them. Bev
Marie, No I printed on the straight grain. I use pinking shears to cut out. When I sew them down I sew on all 4 sides . I couldn't figure out how to get the image on an angle for bias printing. You can also print them on organic cotton knit or performance knit and there would be no worry about raveling.
I print my labels from spoonflower too. SO cheap! Did we get a final, 100%, for sure that Spoonflower's printing process is exempt from lead testing, that it is for sure a dye and not a surface coating- for kids toys and clothes?
It is a digital print using fabric dye. It has become part of the substrate, It can't be scraped off. No problems with using anything from Spoonflower. It's no different from buying most fabrics from JoAnn's
Yes! I just got documentation from Spoonflower, too, saying the same thing. They will email anyone the correct paperwork if needed, and the country of origin for all of their fabrics!
I was doing some experimenting, and you can edit your tag file to get the angle you need for bias printing on picmonkey.com, if anyone is interested. Just make sure you have plenty of white space around your "tag" and then crop it to size after you've adjusted the angle.
If you want to see the labels, please send me a convo message. I don't check this thread, I'm trying to let it die out so I'm going to close it. Please convo . Thanks. Bev
