Label help...any ideas?

I handpaint clear glass plates for babies/children & wonder if anyone has any suggestions for a label...I handpaint the clear glass w/a background color, then also handpaint the design~ all on the front of the plate,but the back of the plate is plain. My items are not produced in bulk & each plate is an original & could easily be traced back to me, so I dont think I have to have a lot of info on the label.
I have thought of a permanent marker, but didnt know if this would be "legal"?? Ideas????.....

MissTish, have you considered including a certificate of authenticity with each of your creations instead? It doesn't have to be large, even a business card size would work, it could include all of your contact info if people wanted to reorder, and it could be attached to the plate in a really attractive way while also being easy to remove. Just one idea, good luck! :)

Thanks for your idea! I do have some labels & business cards, but this law says the CPSIA label must be attached....I may be able to try that anyway.

What about a stamp with all the info to be placed on the back of the plate? You can leave a line to handwrite the transaction order/batch # that you can use for tracking. Seems easy enough!
