I'm closing up on Friday

My family is going on vacation for a couple of weeks, so I am putting my mostly children's shop into vacation mode and when I reopen in February, will no longer carry children's items. I am so so sad about this!!

In hopes the law will change. Anyone else closing up shop soon?

I closed up shop on my bows boutique just yesterday. I was upset too, but have since re-opened this shop selling hand knit items for adults! :)

I say put your shop on vcation mode and don't close. Sell some adult items in the meantime. But don't give up. Stick around and wait it out.

As etsy sellers, we have the luxury to do this. Brick and mortar stores are the ones having to make the permanent decisions. What a shame.

I have a couple of adult items and some other ideas, but my main sellers are slings and my shop has actually been doing well for the past few months, but it took a lot of work!! And now.... I'm just so frustrated and upset!

I say wait it out too, maybe something will change for us small businesses.

My kids keep asking me what I am going to do with my childrens hats that I have listed. They have picked out which ones they want!

The thing is that I only get back from our trip the day before the 10th and I don't want to come out of vacation mode with all my baby stuff, just to have to close.

I'll just reopen with 2 or 3 adult items instead.

I have enough fabric to dress my daughter and 3 or 4 other girls for the next 20 years!!
