sunshineshoppe & PrincessGraceBow, personally I would be careful with GCCs that don't give the lead content in PPM. The 1 site you gave, www.hipgirlclips.com , does have GCC's for 20 of their products but some of the testing was done & the GCC issued when the allowable lead limit was 600PPM not the current level of 300PPM and when the limit drops to 100PPM in Aug of '12 you'll have no idea if those products would still pass.
Another thing that has me worried is that the GCC's line "2. Regulation(s) for which this product is being certified:" should cite both the "Lead Content in Children's Metal Products, Test Method CPSC-CH-E1001-08" and "Lead Content in Children's Non-Metal Products, Test Method CPSC-CH-E1002-08 " as being tested for for components that are made out of a mix of metal and other things like plastic or rhinestones.
Then to top it all of the lab used is not currently ceritified by the CPSC to do either of those tests and the current scope allowed by the CPSC for this lab is only for
"Scope: Scope Comments (CPSC Acceptance Date):
Lead Paint: 16 CFR Part 1303 - Toys (12/17/2008)
Small Parts Rule: 16 CFR 1501 - Toys (12/17/2008)"
http://www.cpsc.gov/cgi-bin/labapplist.aspxSo when the stay of testing ends, early next year, you may need all new GCCs issued for testing done by labs certified by the CPSC to do those tests.
