I'm expanding my shop to include handmade tutus. Before I start making and selling, I just want to double check the requirements for the FTC label. What I came up with is that one side would be my CPSIA info and the back side will be the FTC info.
I wrote down what I think has to be on the FTC label and I just want to make sure I have all the info I need before I purchase the labels.
100% Nylon Spot Clean Only. Dry Flat. Do Not Bleach. Do Not Iron. (and then the care symbols)
Is this correct? Or am I missing something? Oh and does a tag for the size have to be on the tutu as well?
The size and care SYMBOLS are optional. I think you'll need to include the country both the fabric and tutu were made in on the front of the label as well. I know that I have to for regular everyday kid clothes, so I would assume that tutus would have the same requirements. Other than that, it looks good.
For country of origin, you can say "Made in city, state - USA of imported materials." If some of the materials are manufactured here, you can say, "Mad in city, state - USA of domestic and imported materials."
