Deadline to vote at change.org TODAY 5pm EST, January 15

Hi everyone,

The issue "Save Small Business From the CPSIA" is currently at 6th place on Change.org
http://www.change.org/ideas/view/save_handmade_toys_from_the_cpsia
and today is the last day to vote.

According to Change.org's website:
"On Friday we will present the top 10 ideas to the Obama administration at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. We'll then connect the winning ideas to leading nonprofits and launch a series of national advocacy campaigns to turn each idea into federal policy."

If you care about this issue, please head over to change.org and vote, and then email all your customers and friends and tell them to vote, too.

I just go my vote in. I really hope that people in Washington are paying attention to the small business owners.....If this law goes into affect the way its written, Noone would be able to by handmade anymore, and that just really sucks.

The top 10 ideas are presented to Obama on Inaguration Day. Right now we're still #6.

Sorry Spazspun. I was checking email, checking here and watching the top rated list all the while fending off my 4 year old son. That was not a very detailed answer I gave you.

Here's the deal: On January 16 (sorry, I was mistaken about the day) the change.org people will present these top ten ideas to the Obama administration. The change.org are also going to create a "national advocacy campaign" to help aid in turning "each idea into policy." I guess the basic thought is that this group wants to make sure that our ideas are not just handed off to Obama, but to have discussions with him and then create a campaign to continue to follow up.

It's not sending me the email to join...but I have to honest...an organization where legalizing medical marijuana is the #1 issue lacks some credibility in IMO.

It's also a TOP issue on the POTUS elects change.gov site too Maridor.

It's seems that many Americans want change in that regard as well. I'm one of them. Treat it like alcohol and tax it and stop throwing people in jail for smoking it.
