Crochet Patterns for Baby Items

I sell crochet patterns for baby booties and hats that are emailed to the buyer in pdf format. Are there any regulations applicable to pdf patterns? I do use some buttons in my patterns. In that case am I supposed to include a warning message in my pdf patterns and how should it be worded?

I have been concerned about this for quite some time and had no idea there is a CPSIA team here. Thanks in advance!

CPSIA doesn't apply to patterns as patterns aren't used by children.

You might want to call the ombudsman at the cpsc and ask if you should /could put a cautionery choking hazard statement in the instructions for the pattern.
