CPSIA labels

Does anyone have experience with the Consumer Protection Standards fabric care labels? I'm going to be selling some clothing made from vintage materials. I generally just advise buyers to hand-wash. Today I ran across a web site that says even if you make a few items at home you must comply with CPSIA rules. Does anyone know if this is true?

If you manufacture children's items, it doesn't matter whether you are big or small: the CPSIA rules (and the FTC care and content labelling rules, etc) apply to you.

A big THANKS everyone!!!! I figured Help or Forums must have covered this but apparently I don't know how to find things on those. I looked at lists, couldn't find a search link, nothing titled CPSIA. Now I can read the link daisydoodle sent -- though I still would be unable to track it down myself....

find4you, a lesson in Forum searching:
Go to the top right of this page, to the search box. It will say "Search Forum Titles" (when you are in Forums).
Type in the words Everything CPSIA and you will be shown the link to that thread. If you type in just CPSIA, you'll get a long list of threads including that word. :-)
