CPSIA and overseas sellers

Hello all. I apologise in advance if this has been asked before but I am a new seller and there are an awful lot of threads here and I could'nt find a search facility.

I am in the UK and make childrens clothing, will these regulations affect me or are customers buying from me under UK law?

From what ive gathered (im in the UK to!) it only applies if we live in the US. We only have to abide by European laws. I think!!

yes --as a UK seller you only need to abide by UK & EU laws -- which i have seen stated are tougher than the CPSIA regulations anyway

in general it would be your USA buyer (as importer of the item) that would have to show compliance with CPSIA. An individual buying for their own use will be unlikely to bother overmuch about this, but if you wholesale to a shop for resale they would want to see evidence of compliance

For what I read overseas seller don't have to do anything about CPSIA..

I just move to Taiwan for 3 years so I don't need to do all the labels and testing part this next 3 years,but I will do everything now and follow directions in support of my fellows USA sellers...
