CPSIA Photos - Please email me with an attached photo

Hey everyone. I would like to compile a photo album of items that will disappear if the CPSIA is not ammended. I would like to be able to take it with me on wednesday plus make a few extra to send to Dingell, Rush and whomever else.

They say pictures are worth a 1000 words. So if I can get 100 pictures that would be 100,000 words.

Email the photos to me, frillerup@yahoo.com, with your name, where you are located, name of your shop/website and if you have the time a small description of what you make. I will print out the photos and label them, put them in a photo album and be on my way. Pictures are emotional and tangible.

You can keep flipping through over and over again. Make sure the picture is in jpeg and attached so I can download it. Still kind of new at this whole picture computer thing.

It affects used items as well. I owna used bookstore. I'm looking at having to destroy around a thousand kids books. Can I send you some pictures of those? I think seeing that Dr Seuss is getting banned might give them a bit of a punch.

fenrislorsrai- don't you dare throw any of those books out. we don't know what will ahppen and if worse comes to worse you put them in a box and save them. don't throw them out. PLease send a pic of books. congress has to realize that it affects ALL children's items, as the law states. I need vintage clothing, books, shoes whatever. Gotta fill the pages up!!!

I have space. I am totally stashing the books. Though I will likely have a free book day at store to clear out some of 'em. I do those every now and then anyway.

I wish you well with the photos, I do not have anything of use, though I hope this law gets ammended for the sake over many here, and many that I know that were about to start a shop here, and now will not.

Speaking of photos, here are some of the people on the Consumer Protection Safety Committee. This will give you names and faces, and bios, of some of the people, public employees, responsible for certain aspects of the act ... in addition to elected and unelected Congressional bureaucrats.

Part of our problem might be that we have no legal representation to plead our case. Probably because of our wide diversity, and lack of money.
