CPSIA - Flood CNN!?

Ok guys, every morning I watch CNN. They have such a HUGE focus on the economy right now, it's probably at least half of their broadcast at any given time.
Yet, I have never heard anything about CPSIA, which will have a huge impact if monitored, right?!
So while CNN is concerned about how Obama's new plan will really help, we have thousands of small businesses on the verge of going out of business because of this.
So I'm thinking, if we all send tips/story ideas to CNN about this, maybe they will cover it! If we can get information to the consumer, and if people realize they won't be able to go to the thrift store and buy their child a book and a dress, then we might see some action, right?!

Hopefully, if we all send in a tip or story idea about this, they will be so flooded with CPSIA info they might take notice.........I think it's worth a shot.
I didn't see any other thread about this, so if I missed it, then nevermind and rock on for having already done this.

As the owner of a one-woman small business owner I would love to see a story about the CPSIA [Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 ] and how it will effect EVERY American! Not only will this law shut down thousands of small business owners that make items for children 12 and under, but it will also shut down thrift stores! Everything that is marketed for a child12 and under must have lead testing done. And in this hard economy small business people can not afford this redundant testing! Many Americans rely on thrift stores to buy clothes for their children, or coat drives in the winter to keep them warm, but after this law goes into effect on Feb. 10th we will no longer be able to buy our children secondhand items and items that are not certified. I certainly don't have the money to buy brand new clothing every season. Alot of Americans have no idea that this law will hurt us all BIG time! I would definitly appreciate a story on this!
