I read that earlier this afternoon, it is a great post!

Wonderful to see that most everything passed with 0's...but like she wrote "Then all of the 0’s started to become extremely frustrating! So many companies are going through the stress, time, money and even financial setback to test products that don’t contain lead."

BTW, I don't know if you have any information on how the testing company was found, but I am having a he#$ of a time finding someone here in NJ. All of the places with the XRF say that they only do residential and commercial lead paint testing. Do you know how someone was located who would scan products?

I don't know whether to jump for joy or get pissed off, lol! It is so stupid that we have to go to these extremes to test items we KNOW are safe. You give us lots of great info!! Thanks :)

i still think we should make copies of all these low lead readings and send them all the exact same day to mr. rush... bury him in them.

awesome turtle. superflykidz and i are trying to put one of those together here in michigan. we have a facility in ann arbor but their not returnig our call so we'll see.

littlepinkposies..I think olivia convinced the Black Bear Inspections company to do our things...they normally do home inspections. Have you asked the labs to do it just once :-) maybe beg...tell them you'll send them lots and lots of business..explain the crazy law. Have any of the labs you've called owned an XRF gun? Are there any consumer groups in your area? they sometimes own an XRF gun too....

good luck frillerup! keep at them! many of the home inspection labs are not used to getting requests to test tuile...convince them that you'll be sending them lots of business

I think if you're any where near one of the testing parties you should take advantage of them even if you have to travel a bit.
