Accidental repost... Child Safe Acrylic paint?

I was looking for a child safe acrylic paint as I was considering teaching a class on painting. Any ideas from anyone?

I teach elementary art and have been getting my new 2010 catalogs for supplies, all made specifically for elementary students. They still carry the same paints, all types, that they have always carried...even the ones I use in my work. As long as they have the AP code on them, they are safe for children...at least before the CPSIA stated otherwise. It's so confusing!

Sax, Nasco, Dick Blick...those are the main ones I use.

Plaid will give you a GCC for their paints, showing they've been tested to CPSIA standards...they make many brands of acrylic paints.

Yes, all of the certified non-toxic paints have been tested for many years at very high standards. Unfortunately the CPSIA doesn't take that into account!

I called Apple Barrel and they told me their paints were lead free.
