How to ship to EU countires

Hi Etsy Sellers,

I am fairly new to Etsy and my shop was launched in end of May this year.

I would like to create an affordable shipping profile for EU countries. Does anyone has any suggestions for me ?

You can restrict it to the EU if you'd like, but shipping to the EU isn't different than shipping to other countries except for shipping to Germany which requires an invoice in an accessible sleeve on the outside of the package (available free from USPS).

Thank you GoTo. This is helpful. Looks like the EU countries are as expensive to ship to as any other country.

You're welcome. Yes, if you're shipping First Class International, the rates for anywhere outside North America are pretty much the same, but don't let that put you off adding international shipping to your listings.

Our international shipping rates are not bad compared to the domestic rates in many other countries, so it's not really something that stops a lot of international buyers. Just be sure to post in your policies that customers are responsible for any taxes or fees that customs might charge just in case a buyer isn't used to international ordering and is surprised by them.

I used to be around a lot more, but they changed the forums and they're not as interesting to me anymore--plus I got a puppy last year and I spend far more time playing in the grass now. Yay!
