Um. Expedited means basically faster than usual.
Ex: I normally send First Class Mail International. This is air mail, but slow, and can take weeks. I offer to send things Priority or Express Mail International for the additional price those services cost. Especially around the holidays, many people will pay more to get it faster. But it can cost ALOT MORE.

'Expedited shipping' within the USA generally means that the shipping is bumped from its current shipping class up to the next faster class.

For example, if the package is generally shipped via USPS 1st class then Expedited shipping would be Priority mail.

If its shipped Priority mail then to expedite it would be to ship it via Priority Express (next day).

Sometimes people will need something next day so they will ask for it to be expedited.

I offer shipping upgrades for most items in my shop in the shipping tab.

I charge $5.00 to upgrade from USPS 1st class to Priority but $30 to upgrade to overnight as its rather expensive.
